By participating in any services and/or any events on Dreamheals.com, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Scope of Service
We offer two types of services: dreamwork and guided lucid dreaming, both involve breathwork, suggestions, and visualization to guide clients into the dreamscape to attain therapeutic insights. We do not diagnose conditions, prescribe substances, perform medical treatment, nor interfere with the treatment of a licensed medical professional. It is recommended that you see a licensed physician, or licensed health care professional for any physical or psychological ailment or condition you may have.
Dreaming is totally natural, and dream-based therapies have been practised all over the world for thousands of years. While in the dreamscape, participants close their eyes but are fully aware of their waking circumstances and are in control of other bodily senses. At any time during the session, they have the ability to end the session simply by opening their eyes.
Dream therapy aims to help clients release unresolved negative emotions and develop positive mental outlooks. This process varies from person to person, and may not progress as quickly as expected. Dreamwork may reveal old painful memories, which can cause temporary sadness, anger, and distress. Furthermore, when changes take place, they may cause disruptions to existing routines, which can feel overwhelming. Some people may experience temporary grogginess after their session.
We rely on the commitment, openness, and motivation from clients to get the best results. Part of the healing occurs during the session and part of the treatment is homework. As the client, when you undertake a course of healing you also agree to engage with the process and complete any homework. It is with commitment and partnership working that you will see the best results.
Therapy Sessions & Fees
Session duration and fees are stated on www.dreamheals.com, payable at the time of booking.
You are responsible for attending the booked appointments on time.
We require at least 24 hours notice of cancellation by email. If an appointment is cancelled with less notice, the full session fee will apply. If you have to cancel due to unforeseeable circumstances beyond your control, we may consider rescheduling or issuing a refund. Please send a written request with the explanation at your earliest convenience.
Late for an Appointment
If you are running late, please email us as soon as possible. We will do our best to make a full session available, but cannot guarantee. If your session is shortened because you are late then the session fee remains payable in full.
We will hold all clients' information confidential and not share with anyone unless we have the client's written consent, except when there is an imminent life-threatening danger, or it is required by a court of law.
Technology and Setup
Please ensure in advance that your video/audio meeting devices and internet connections are secure and functioning well. The sessions should be conducted in a private space, well-lit, and free of noises and disruptions. We should be able to see and hear you clearly. You should wear comfortable clothing that's easy to move in, and sit somewhere you can lean back and have your head and back fully supported.
Standards of Behaviour
We treat all clients with dignity and respect and expect the same in return. You agree not to come to sessions under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs, except those medications prescribed by your doctor. We reserve the right to cancel the session and refuse any further sessions.
For private sessions, audio recordings are available upon request.
