A Dream of Golden Rain Helped Them Find Their Inner Shelter

"Suddenly a golden rain came from above and enveloped me. At that moment I felt very strong inside. It felt like I could rely 100% on myself and as if I had the power to manage everything on my own."

This participant came to Guided Dreaming with a challenge many of us know well: how to stop losing energy in stressful moments and stay centered instead of reactive.

During their underwater waking dream, they found themselves swimming playfully. A small, metallic-looking seahorse appeared—like something out of a comic—lively and full of character. Then came an orange octopus.

"The orange octopus moved like the octopus and I felt like I had no bones. That felt good."

They somehow entered the octopus's head and found themselves inside a beautiful bubble.

"It was nice in this bubble. I felt safe."

Then something extraordinary happened.

"Suddenly a golden rain came from above and enveloped me. At that moment I felt very strong inside."

In that moment, they knew—with complete certainty—that they could rely on themselves. That they had the power to manage everything. On their own.

When it was time to leave the bubble, something had changed.

"I was a little sad and was no longer sad because I knew that I had now found a way to return to this place again and again on my own whenever I need it."

The insight?

"I think it means that I should believe in myself even more and that I can do anything if I really want to. In addition, this dream has shown me a way to inner peace or to an inner shelter."

They left the session with a practice, not just an insight:

"I try to return to this place from the dream in stressful moments to become calmer."

The place they found wasn't just in the dream. It was within them. A secure place in their own inner world. Available anytime.

Their mental outlook shifted from 60 to 80.

That's the transformative power of dreaming while awake.
