The Supernova Octopus and the World Tree: Finding Your Own Path
"I looked up and saw a Giant Octopus looking down at me. It had the colour of SuperNova."
This participant came to Guided Dreaming to embody their own power and authority.
During their underwater waking dream, a dolphin led them to a glowing moonstone. As they stepped onto it, they activated an old city—a landscape of familiar patterns, limiting beliefs, and societal expectations. They felt small. Overwhelmed.
Then came the octopus.

She collected their energy. Dissolved their past. Absorbed everything that no longer served them.
"She blew up like a balloon and the three of us were absorbed into her. Everything was completely white light."
When it was time to leave, the octopus looked into the participant's eyes. And then—they were in space.
And there, they saw it.
The World Tree.
"It had lots of different landscapes and realms that were all full, active, and busy."
A vision of infinite possibility. Different paths. All valid.
The insight?
"One size does not fit all. Just because something works for someone, it doesn't necessarily mean it's gonna work for me. It's ok to find out and explore what's right for me."
They left the session committed to building an authentic relationship with themselves—trusting their own wisdom, regardless of external expectations.
That's the transformative power of dreaming while awake.
Guided Dreaming offers a safe, reliable, and evidence-informed protocol to access your unconscious wisdom through structured underwater waking dreams.
Waking dreams are dreamlike phenomena experienced when one is not asleep, according to the APA Dictionary of Psychology.
